To receive the status Project of Common Interest (PCI) within the European Union (EU), the promoters of the individual projects that form the SunsHyne Corridor had the opportunity to introduce their projects during the last Regional Group Meeting on the 17/18th of April in Brussels.

The TSOs in the SunsHyne Corridor gave interesting insight on their projects and used the opportunity to draw the big picture on how the corridor can satisfy the European wide need for clean Energy, balance supply and demand and support in reaching the RePowerEU targets. The participating SunsHyne Corridor colleagues answered questions from the interested Audience: European Commission (EC), Member States, National Regulatory Authorities, Organisations for Environmental Protections and many more. The participation and explanations were an important step on the way forward to reach the PCI status. Further Information including documents are available on the webpage Selection process (europa.eu)
